Awful. I adopted a cat from P.U.R.R who was sick from the time it got home. Izzy died a year after he came into my life after going to the vet about every three months to get him shots.
I had also visited the P.U.R.R building to get his chip and it's absolutely disgusting and most if not all of the cats there looked rather sick.
Awful service. We adopted a cat who had a slight cough (sounded like a hairball.) So of course we asked and they told us she was treated for bronchitis but was already recovered. One week later we were in the emergency pet clinic at midnight because sweet Dixie developed life threatening pneumonia. Turns out she never had bronchitis but was misdiagnosed and mistreated. I contacted P.U.R.R. about reimbursement since we had just adopted the cat and had to already spend over $500 on vet costs from a pre-existing condition. The person I gained contact with was VERY nasty you me and used very vulgar language as well as absolutely refused to believe that it was in any way their fault. To this day it is very difficult if not impossible to reach them at their listed number. My girlfriend even drove to Grafton during business hours, walked in, saw that nobody was there, and left. She then contacted them and the same woman that was nasty with me, Told her that there was "definitely staff there during those hours" even though there clearly wasnt. 0/5 would not recommend.
A bunch of volunteers doing their best or abandoned and dropped off cats. That also provides services for vaccines and spay and neuter.
I will not ever use them again and will tell anyone thing about getting a cat from them not to.
Great program to help cats and awesome program to get your cat spayed or neutered for $65 it also includes rabies shots and other vaccinations for your cats.
We had four male fosters that were rescued by P.U.R.R and they promised to keep us updated. Not only have we not heard from them since, we don't know what happened to our boys and they give us the same answer everytime. I will NEVER work with this place again, The only one that we know that was rehomed was the tuxedo boy (black and white) kitten.
